The Main Corner project connects the existing buildings via multi-purpose spaces and a striking new entrance foyer. The City Hall terrace now flows through to Bay Road at ground level, while a glass atrium provides access to the rejuvenated Riddoch Art Gallery and upper floor spaces.

The completion of this project brings the Garden Square vision to life, with the Cave Garden, Civic Centre, Sir Robert Helpmann Theatre, Mount Gambier Library, 1884 marble fountain and the former site of the Town Baths included in this precinct.
